If you're serious it would need k swap fo sho . Like any performance project . Parts costs add up fast while your ride may not move much faster. As it sits your lucky to see 16 or 17 sec time slips at dragstrip . How much knowledge , time and money you got are answers you need to figure out. Camaro would be a bit easier but drink gas like water on a hot day lol. Start with listing what your goals are . Then start designing a build sheet . @akees_21 definitely go with whatever will make you happy. Like Eric.srt10 said there are ton of easy bolt on performance mods available . I've got a ton of time under factory civics . Only thing really pathetic on them is the air conditioning systems. Compressors like to grenade . Good timing adjustment with higher octane fuel can make you huge gains from the emissions setting. If you go with high flow air filter system make sure it just isnt sitting on the end of mass airflow meter sucking hot engine bay air. Totally defeats the purpose of cold air intake . Get a quality unit that takes in actual cold air from outside engine compartment.

@akees_21 I've had a 96,98,and a 01 civic my 96 was fixed up motor turned nos system air bags just had it painted week later my girlfriend totaled it
