This Custom Harley Davidson, Sportster "Lay Down" Alcohol Burning Dragbike was one of the first, if not the first HD Drag Bikes on the Canadian East Coast from 1987 to 1990 we had a lot of fun and blew up a lot of motors and transmissions.

The bike had a centrifugal clutch and air shifter. The engine tarted as a stock cast iron sportster engine and then it was reworked and shaved and honed and ported and polished, etc, etc... lots of fun and lots of hours and money spent.

Actually caught on fire & blewup on the line after my burn out and launch once... LOL it was a track favorite. Just because we kept trying weekend after weekend at dragstrips all over Atlantic Canada and Quebec and had a few great races and a lot of blowups while we were cutting the trail for others on Harleys to follow.
