Back in 1997 my dad bought a Accord which was imported from Japan.
There was a boom in India of imports back then even if was just a normal car for other markets.
My dad got this due to its styling n being an import.
I remember i was 7 years old n always it was a joyride for me. Probably you can say it was a supercar feeling for me back then. My dad used to occasionally drop me off to school or coaching classes in it on me insisting as I wanted to show off my friends riding in an imported expensive vehicle. It was so comfortable with fabric seats n drive was smooth. Although a big problem if it breaks down as no parts were available but anyhow my dad kept it mint running. It was probably bought for around $10000 that time. We had long road trips too. We sold it off in 2011 when we got the 2002 Skoda Octavia. It was tough finding a buyer for accord but as unable to keep 2 cars we wanted to get rid n sold it for only $1000. I found the pictures I clicked on my laptop from the day it was left at a used dealer.
I still remember the memories of childhood in this car. I do wonder where would have it ended, it’s sad probably to think it’s abandoned n rusting somewhere.

@RDTech86 it was very cool that tym n even today. It had a aftermarket muffler exhaust installed by dad n sounded kinda AMG
RDTech86
@nishchaiy7 nah like an AMG... that's crazy. Did it have a little more hp?
Nish7
@RDTech86 no everything was stock. The torque was good due to Petrol engine. Probably around 86 HP only. But even that was enough in India. Lol

@nishchaiy7 oh really, y'all don't have enough room to open throttle there? Go fast...
